Roles Available:
- Country Lead
The Country Lead is the primary representative of Agora within their local region and plays a central role in shaping and growing the developer ecosystem. This is a leadership position for highly proactive community builders who can connect with developers, universities, and local AI
communities.
• Lead and manage the local Ambassador team
• Create and execute a 6-month community roadmap
• Host and plan monthly meetups/workshops
• Build and manage official regional community channels (e.g., Agora JP, Agora SG)
• Coordinate directly with Agora’s Global DE team
• Ensure brand governance, content quality, and positive community reputation - Agora Fellow
Agora Fellows are the core execution force of each regional Ambassador Team. They work closely with the Country Lead to bring events, workshops, and university outreach programs to life.
• Support planning and execution of local meetups, workshops, and hackathons
• Engage with universities, AI clubs, and dev communities to promote Agora's technology
• Assist in organizing tech sessions, preparing demos, and logistics
• Help moderate discord channels, and regional social accounts
• Collaborate with Country Lead to maintain activity cadence, and regional presence - Agora Writer
Agora Writers specialize in transforming complex technical topics into clear, engaging, and educational content for the regional developer community. They support the storytelling, documentation, and visibility of Agora's technology across social and developer platforms.
• Create high-quality technical blogs, demos, tutorials, or sample code
• Localize or translate core Agora and Convo AI documentation
• Write event recaps, and social posts to amplify community events
• Develop monthly and quarterly content calendars
• Collaborate with Country Leads and Fellows to promote local and regional events
Who we are looking for?
Mandatory Requirements:
- Genuine passion for Voice AI, Agentic AI, or developer tools
- Strong interest in community building
- Fluent in local language
- Professional, reliable, accountable
- Team-first and Community-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience organizing or participating in hackathons, workshops
- Studying or working in CS / AI / Engineering
- Contributor in local developer groups, student clubs
- Familiarity with Agora or other AI platforms
